What Is Testek?
Testek is a dietary supplement targeted to bodybuilders and others who wish to increase their testosterone levels. The supplement is manufactured by QNT, an international company. Its active ingredients include essential nutrients as well as several proprietary blends serving various purposes. This supplement is designed for men ages 20 to 60, and it is recommended to take four capsules with water a couple of hours before working out.
This supplement has several different claims for its use. These purported effects are designed to work together to help you get a muscular body. The manufacturer claims that this supplement works with your body’s natural hormone pathways. It also claims that this supplement increases anabolic growth factor levels by up to 333%, and increases the testosterone-to-cortisol ratio by up to 184%. Supposedly, taking Testek also helps blunt the formation of DHT and estrogen.
The manufacturer of Testek is QNT. This company was founded in 1988. Today they have headquarters in Belgium along with offices in the USA, UK, and India. Their products are distributed in over fifty countries across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
QNT has a devoted team that develops scientifically-proven sports fitness products. Athletes and bodybuilders are the main customers of QNT. The manufacturing facility is certified for ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP. ISO 9001 is a quality management system, GMP is a manufacturing quality practice, and HACCP is a food safety management system. QNT is also certified by EFSIS, a third-party inspection service.
How Testek Works?
It works because of its wide variety of beneficial nutrients and compounds, such as zinc, selenium, and proprietary blends. Many of the ingredients have clinical evidence for the claim that they can boost testosterone or muscle strength. Some of the ingredients do not boost testosterone, but they have other health benefits such as reducing stress or reducing free radical damage.
The ingredient Zinc is very potent, and has the ability to boost your testosterone levels, especially since many people do not get enough Zinc through their normal diet. Studies have shown that higher Zinc stores in the body are associated with higher blood testosterone levels. Animal studies suggest that zinc supplementation increases the amount of testosterone circulating in the blood. Some research also suggests that Zinc supplementation is most effective for boosting testosterone when combined with exercise, so the best time to take Testek is a couple of hours before your workout.
SerinAid functions on multiple levels. It improves mental performance and mood, but also can have profound effects on your hormone levels. Specifically, SerinAid reduces high cortisol levels. Chronically elevated cortisol levels are terrible for mental and physical health, and increase your risk of various health conditions. By reducing cortisol levels, you can maintain great overall health, which is another crucial aspect of boosting testosterone.
AlphaSize is another ingredient found in this supplement, and it has benefits for muscle fibers, muscle contraction, production of human growth hormone, communication between cells, and muscular power. AlphaSize is a potent compound that is great for those looking to build muscle and maintain their youth and vitality. Its effect of producing human growth hormone is beneficial for testosterone levels. This is because it helps you maintain your body composition. Lower body fat levels means lower estrogen levels and higher testosterone.
These are just a few examples of how the ingredients in this supplement. There are too many ingredients to go into great detail about how they each interact with one another. The main point to remember is that this supplement increases testosterone and muscle power while improving your overall health.
Ingredients of Testek
This supplement contains 15mg, or 100% DV, of Zinc per serving, in the form of zinc monomethionine, which is an amino acid and an antioxidant. Zinc is an essential metal that the body needs in small amounts for immune function, wound healing, thyroid function, blood clotting, and more. Animal studies show that low Zinc levels can lead to increased expression of estrogen receptors, suggesting that taking a Zinc supplement can help you block estrogen and therefore gain testosterone. Zinc can also be found in meats, seafood, nuts, legumes, whole grains, and dairy items.
Testek contains 200mcg, or 286% DV, of Selenium per serving. In this supplement, it comes in the form of selenomonomethionine, which is also an amino acid and an antioxidant. This is mineral that is required for the reproductive system, thyroid gland function, DNA synthesis, and preventing damage by free radicals. Selenium disrupts estrogen receptor signalling, which is beneficial if you’re trying to reduce estrogen levels and boost testosterone levels; additionally, low plasma selenium levels are associated with poor muscle strength, so taking a Selenium supplement can help you become more physically strong.
MyoBlast Testosterone & Anabolic Growth Optimizer Proprietary Blend is a trademark of Chemi Nutra. It contains SerinAid Phosphatidylserine, AlphaSize Alpha-Glycerl Phosphoryl Choline, N-acetyl 5-Methoxytryptamine, and Nicotinoyl-GABAm Pucamilon. This supplement contains 326mg of this proprietary blend in every serving. There haven’t been any clinical studies done on this particular proprietary blend, but clinical studies have been done on one of the ingredients in the blend, SerinAid. Because this is a proprietary blend, there is no way of knowing the exact amounts of each ingredient you are consuming.
The other proprietary blend present in this dietary supplement is EstroFlavin Anti-Aromatase DHT Complex. This blend contains 970mg total of Hesperidin Flavanone Glycoside, Beta-Sitosterol, Campesterol, Stigmasterol, Brassicasterol, Stigmastanol, Tocopherol, Lemon Balm Herb Extract, and Lycopene. Each of these ingredients are thought to improve various aspects of health, although scientific evidence for any anti-estrogen effects may be lacking. As with SerinAid, this is a proprietary blend, so you are unable to know how much of each ingredient you take in each dose.
Aside from the active ingredients, the capsules also contains non-active ingredients. Most supplements have a variety of non-active ingredients, including fillers, colors, anti-caking agents, and preservatives. The non-active ingredients in this supplement are Gelatin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Talc, Titanium dioxide, FD&C Yellow #6, FD&C Ted #40, FD&C Blue #1, and FD&C Red #3. All of the dyes listed are synthetic ones. If you prefer all-natural ingredients, including natural dyes, then this supplement may not be ideal.
Please note that this supplement also contains Soy. Ingesting Soy if you are allergic to it can produce many unpleasant side effects, including stuffy nose, runny nose, wheezing, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, hives, itchy mouth and, in rare cases, swelling of the throat that can interfere with breathing. Do not take this supplement if you know that you are allergic to Soy or suspect that you may be.
The main advantage of taking Testek is that it has many different ingredients. The ingredients come from many different classes of chemicals and have many different health benefits. These benefits include boosting testosterone, improving immune function, increasing muscle strength, and much more. If you are looking for a testosterone booster that will also benefit your overall health, this supplement may be an ideal choice.
The second most notable advantage of this supplement is that there is plenty of scientific evidence to prove or at least suggest that the ingredients are effective. For example, many studies done on both humans and animals show that zinc is necessary for testosterone production. Clinical studies have also been done on the trademarked ingredient SerinAid Phosphatidylserine. If you rely on scientific proof to make your purchase decisions, then you might find Testek appealing.
Some testosterone boosters have official certificates associated with them. Many manufacturers of these products also have some type of official certification. These certificates may be given by a scientific or medical institution, by a third-party inspection agency, or by some other organization. Certificates can give you information on the quality, efficacy, and safety of a testosterone booster.
The product itself does not have any associated certificates. Its efficacy and long-term safety are not guaranteed by any type of scientific or medical organization. However, QNT is certified with several different inspection, quality, and safety agencies. The certification on QNT’s part does ensure a level of quality. However, if you want certification or clinical evidence for your next testosterone booster purchase, you may want to consider a different supplement that has these things.
Reading customer reviews and testimonials is a central part of purchase decision-making for many consumers. The more good reviews a product has, the more likely you are to enjoy it as well. Here are some real customer reviews for this supplement, found online:
Ok I’m not a fan of test boosters but my goodness!! this stuff is money. i took it and got some amazing gains.strength and power has gone up a bunch and muscles are feeling and looking bigger and fuller. the best part is since i have been on this for about 3 months and am off for 3 months now I haven’t lost any gains…let me say that again..I haven’t lost any of my gains. Thats a big deal for me with test boosters. great product.
– Tim M., Indianapolis, IN
One of the worst Test Support products that I have tested. Did nothing. Might as well have taken a Multivitamin that said Test Support. Would not suggest to anyone.
– Jerry A., San Antonio, TX
I took 4 capsules in the morning and then in the afternoon before your workouts. Since I started to use Testek I feel a very pronounced increase in strength and after 3 weeks I started to see an increase in muscle too. What I like is that this product actually gets me in a good mood, unlike other boosters I have used. I’m on my second bottle now and I completely recommend it. The disadvantage is that you take 4 capsules.
– Mike P., Orlando, FL
Awards & Media Coverage
Many well-known sports nutrition brands receive awards and other forms of media coverage. A company may be spotlighted by a fitness publication, or receive a product-of-the-year award. Some people use awards and media coverage to help them decide which testosterone booster to buy. If a lot of people like a product and it receives a lot of attention, the consumer has more faith in its quality.
This product does not have any awards or other media coverage associated with it. It is relatively little-known in the world of testosterone boosters. However, the manufacturer has gained some attention. As of 2012, QNT has a partnership with British Universities & Colleges Sport, which is the national governing body for higher-education sports in the United Kingdom. If popularity of a brand is something that influences your purchase decisions, consider QNT’s official national partnership when making your decision.
Many people like to be able to try out a new product before fully committing to paying full-price. Money-back options vary greatly within testosterone booster companies. Some companies state outright that you can try a product risk-free and get a full refund if you don’t like it. However, many companies have stricter return policies.
If you purchase Testek directly from the manufacturer, your money-back options are limited. Your only option is to return the supplement new and unopened within thirty days of delivery for a complete refund. Because you cannot return opened products, this supplement is not a good option if trying it out risk-free is a priority for you. If this is the case, you can either find a third-party retailer with a better return policy, or simply choose a different supplement altogether. However, if you do make a return to QNT, your refund could take up to thirty days to come through.
When purchasing products online, it is ideal that your order will be shipped in a safe, reliable, affordable, and timely manner. Another concern is whether the website in question can ship to your location. A majority of websites do not ship internationally, and many others only ship within the continental United States, therefore excluding those who live in Alaska, Hawaii, and territories of the United States such as Puerto Rico. When you purchase Testek directly from the manufacturer, shipping is affordable and flexible.
The United States branch of QNT ships to every state in the country. This includes Alaska and Hawaii, which is a bonus because many companies only ship within the continental United States. When purchasing from QNT, your order will be shipped via either USPS or UPS. Your product usually ships the same day of, or one business day after, placing the order. Shipping fees depend on the size of your order and the shipping speed you select, but you can get also free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
Many people who order dietary supplements online value having good customer service. Good customer service is necessary for many reasons. Making returns, making exchanges, and asking questions about products are all important and require the assistance of a good customer service representative. With poor customer service, or perhaps none at all, you may find yourself stuck with products that you don’t want or don’t know how to use.
The manufacturer of the product, QNT, has a customer service department that can be contacted in multiple ways. You can call QNT toll-free, or you can send them an e-mail. However, retailers and vendors other than the original manufacturer also sell Testek. If you purchase this supplement from a third-party retailer, the availability and quality of customer service can vary. If customer support is something that matters to you, consider checking availability before making a purchase.
Safe & Secure Checkout
When shopping online, keeping your personal information and financial details is very important. Virtually all trustworthy websites will have secure checkout to make sure your data is safe. Online purchases are made secure using HTTPS, which stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. HTTPS connections encrypt data transmissions so that they cannot be accessed by third parties. Otherwise, these third parties could access your data maliciously, perhaps stealing your financial details to commit identity theft or fraud.
The availability of HTTPS connections when purchasing Testek depends on what website you purchase it from. The manufacturer’s website does not appear to use HTTPS connections during checkout. This means that purchasing this supplement directly from the manufacturer carries potential risks. If you are concerned about the safety of your information, consider purchasing the supplement from third-party retailer.
If you are looking for an easy-to-find, affordable supplement, this is not the supplement for you. A one-month supply can cost you over $50. While this is not an exorbitant price, neither is it inexpensive. Testek is most likely not available in any brick-and-mortar stores in the US, so if this is a factor that matters to you, perhaps choose a different testosterone booster.
Testek has been discontinued and is difficult to find for sale. Some foreign retailers have been noted selling this supplement for around $40-$60 per 120 capsules. If you live in the United States, there is a good chance that you will not find a website that sells this product and also ships to the US. However, other products from QNT that have not been discontinued are still widely available.
